SACRAMENTO-
Officers arrived at an accident scene in South Sacramento, they found the victim trapped under a car, after being dragged almost a mile.
Investigators believe the man was hit by at least two cars sometime late Wednesday evening along Meadowview Road.
Meadowview Road was closed for several hours Thursday morning as officers tried to determine what happened.
The man was hit close to 21st Street, then most likely dragged until the car for about a mile until the driver stopped near Coral Gables Court.
Investigators say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident.
They have not released any information about the first car that may have hit the man.
