Auburn’s Knee Deep Brewing now selling its beer in Hawaii

Knee Deep has has added the Aloha state to its distribution network. The first shipment of Knee Deep beer docked in Oahu on May 8th, and it will be distributed initially on Oahu only by Underground Wine Merchants. Distribution to the other islands is anticipated for later this year.

“I’m very excited to announce that Knee Deep Brewing will be distributed in Hawaii,” writes the Beer In Hawaii blog.

On the mainland, Knee Deep added Bay Area Distributing of Richmond for the California counties of Alameda and Contra Costa. Also, effective May 9th, DBI Beverage of San Jose has taken over distribution for Santa Clara County and DBI Beverage of San Francisco will sell Knee Deep beers in San Mateo County.

Knee Deep Brewing Company began the relocation from Lincoln to Auburn in late 2013 and brewed the first Auburn beer in January 2014.

The Auburn brewery is about 18,000 sq ft and 2014 production is anticipated to be 6-7,000 BBL’s. Knee Deep now produces 11 different beers on a regular basis, but is most commonly know for multiple awards winners Hoptologist DIPA and Simtra Triple IPA.
