Got this update, installed it, and I don't know how to use the walkman player
Where's my album/playlist shortcut?
Or there are no shortcut anymore?
50% of the screen unused in the home? just a text "Listen Next" ?
And if I delete from the walkman home, the songs is deleted too? weird.

And now my phone's processor is very hot. unusual. Maybe rescan all music, video, photo?

This puts me off updating greatly - anyone else like/dislike the new visuals? The screenshot makes everything appear cluttered and messy to me.. And playlists are really important to me too! Strange they would have got rid of this. I'm not even keen on the album update, the swipe function doesn't appeal to me personally.

The new Album and Walman apps fits nicely to the Movie app. I don't use walkan though, as I have Poweramp

There are both Album and Playlist shortcuts in the slide out menu. Unless I'm misunderstanding what people are saying....?

Edit - If you mean the homescreen shortcuts, I have Album, Artist and Playlist shortcuts available still.

They revised the root level menu on both... While it's different, I think it may actually be better...

Thanks for info, do they not have tracks as a playlist too? Senseme still there? I suppose I can always update and if I don't like just uninstall updates right?

SensMe is there. I'm not sure what you mean by "tracks as a playlist" as I rarely use the Walkman, sorry.
In the "Playlist" section, there is SensMe, Walkman Favourites, Recently played, Most played, Newly added and the option to create a custom playlist.

Thanks again! I meant 'tracks' or 'songs' as a shortcut like there was before the update. They all seem to be there otherwise from what you have told me.

Am I correct in saying there's a way to uninstall if I don't like? I'm pretty sure I saw an option before. Sorry for the questions, just the walkman is a big part of my life/phone haha..

Yes, you can uninstall updates to system apps, including Walkman, via Settings - Apps, which would restore the version that came with whichever software you're running on your phone. :)

Cheers for the help!
By saying it will go to the version that came with my phone, does that mean it won't revert to the one before the new update? That may be an issue then lol...

If I remember correctly, you have a UK phone, so it's likely you're on 10.4.1.B.0.101, correct? It will revert to the version that you had when you updated to that software version.

You could always backup the version you currently have using ES Explorer's app manager tool to make sure.

Excellent. Thanks for helping this noob lol. I'm on 101 indeed so if it reverts back to the version before the new update then it should be fine. :D

yes, homescreen shortcut, but how to add new album/songs, or move the layout?

I'm trying to delete playlists on the new Walkman app but holding it only brings up "share" or "queue" as options. If I try to delete songs in the playlist it deletes them from the main song menu as well and I can't edit the playlists either. What can I do?
