Just got notified today of this new software update. But I can't find any release notes anywhere on sony support site as that seems to state latest version is 17.1.A.2.55. Anyone have any ideas what this small update brings?

I haven't got it yet, sometimes it take a while so all the device get the update, how it include a lot of stuff

I got notification from the update centre app. Might be worth looking at that.

Have already done the update so have nothing to share now. All I know is that it was a very small update

I didn't get any notification messages but when I went to Update Centre it was listed as an update in the System tab.

No idea. Not rooted though, and I guess ad it's already installed I assume that might be a bit of a problem

You need your Z2, flashtool and pc companion, that's everything I can make ftf via teamviewer if you want? You don't even need root at all

Just go the phone today and I'm currently updating my phone. I'm here in the US and I was trying to get it to work on T-Mobile LTE but it doesn't let me. Only does 3G. Under service provider I get only ATT or TMO 2g or 3g. Any ideas?

Mine is on 17.1.A.2.55

My version is D6503. Got it figured out. Apparently it doesn't say LTE for me but when on LTE it says H+. I confirmed this with T-Mobile tech support with my download test speeds and uploads. I was getting 15down and 3up and was confirmed that at normal HSPDA i should only get something like 2-3 down.
