The morning after the Bachelorette finale, newly engaged couple Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray stopped by Good Morning America, relieved that they could finally be seen together in public and dish on their relationship.
“I definitely knew there was that chemistry and attraction with him — I’m definitely an over-thinker, so it took me until the very end,” Dorfman said of being drawn to Murray early on. He said of meeting her on the first day of the ABC show, “I knew she was very intelligent, but she’s so funny, so beautiful. I was intimidated getting out of that limo, for sure.”

Dorfman noted that Murray’s Atlanta residence was a disadvantage to him as a candidate at first, since she wanted to move to a new city, but that has turned out to be incredibly convenient for their relationship. The two have given only “a little” thought to their wedding plans, as they eye a date next spring to tie the knot.
When asked about Dorfman’s cringeworthy reunion encounter with the heartbroken runner-up, Nick Viall, Dorfman said, “That’s always the tough part, the nature of the beast with the show: I had to break up with 24 guys to get the one I really wanted and needed.”
And of that letter he wrote to her (which the show posted to its Facebook page), she said, “There’s really not much to talk about. It’s obviously something I read, but I’m very happy in my relationship. It’s like reopening the past that doesn’t need to be reopened. We moved past that.”
