ESCALON-
A man was caught on surveillance camera using a stolen credit card, from a purse taken from a home while the woman slept.
A man entered a home in Escalon last month while everyone was asleep. He stole a purse and car keys, then got into the garage and took the car.
The stolen car, abandoned, was recovered a few days later in Bakersfield.
San Joaquin County Sheriff’s detectives say the suspect used the victim’s credit card in Modesto and McFarland.
