SANTA CLARA-

Fans heading to the new 49ers stadium have an option to leave the car behind as far away as Placer County and get a ride to Santa Clara.

The Capitol Corridor line runs from Auburn to Great America in Santa Clara, which is a short walk to the new Levi’s Stadium opening this fall.

Although there is only one morning train starting in Auburn, fans all along the rails will be able to hop on and get to Levi’s in time for kick-off. On the weekend, the Capitol Corridor schedule shows several trains from Sacramento, Davis or Fairfield to Santa Clara. The trip takes about three hours.

A one-way ticket from Sacramento to Santa Clara Great America starts at $26.25. Click here for ticket information.

For fans living in the Central Valley, ACE trains will be running on game days between Stockton and Santa Clara, making stops in Lthrop, Tracy, Livermore and other cities. Click here for more information about ACE trains.
