CHICO-
A California family found an uplifting surprise when they sorted through their daughter’s belongings after her tragic death near Chico state.
Kristina Chesterman was attending CSU Chico when she was hit while riding her bike by an alleged drunk driver last September.
According to CBS News, when her parents came across a make-up bag, they found a piece of notebook paper tucked inside. It was a bucket list created by the 21-year-old aspiring nurse.
Kristina’s family has been fulfilling the bucket list in her honor, going to Niagara Falls, taking flying lessons, and walking through poppies, then sharing their heartfelt adventures on the Facebook page, ‘Remembering Kristina Chesterman’. Then a funny thing happened, more people wanted to help fulfill Kristina’s bucket list.
Now, strangers from all over the country are helping cross off adventures from the bucket list. Kristina’s family is overwhelmed by the support.
