FAIRFIELD-
Fairfield Police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for a string of sexual assaults earlier this month.
On Aug. 2, police say a man made inappropriate comments at a woman along the Linear Trail near Northwood Drive and Lopes Road.
Fifteen minutes later, a man of the same description allegedly attacked a 16-year-old girl who was jogging by. Police say she was able to escape unharmed.
Officers searched the area but did not find the man.
The following evening, a woman jogging near Lopes Road and Summer Grove Drive was sexually assaulted. Police believe it was the same suspect from the previous day.
Investigators released a sketch of the suspect, described as a white male, between 18 and 20 years old, around 5-feet-8-inches tall with a slim build. He has a narrow jaw line, light brown or reddish, short hair and a thin beard.
Anyone with information about the assaults is asked to contact Fairfield Police.
