Chinese tycoon Chen Guangbiao who once made a bid to buy the New York Times has taken an ad in the paper offering a free lunch and $300 cash to America’s poor, reports CNN.
The bilingual ad which appeared Monday invited America’s destitute to a free luncheon at the New York Central Park’s Loeb Boathouse on June 25.
An RSVP is required and the luncheon is limited to 1,000 people. Each guest will also receive $300 cash.
