SACRAMENTO-

Water shot six feet into the air outside the Arden Fair Mall Tuesday morning, but it was not a new fountain.

Two cars were in an accident around 8 a.m., and one of them drove across the grassy median, sheared off a water main, and ended up in oncoming traffic.

It happened along Arden Way near the intersection with Ethan Way in the Arden Arcade area.

No one was hurt, but traffic was blocked in both directions for awhile as crews removed the damaged cars and shut off the water.
