iLoveMakonnen Has New Music With Miley Cyrus And A High School Band
New music sensation and OVO signee, iLoveMakonnen made the world fall in love with him after releasing "Goin Up On A Tuesday" and now he's back with some new music featuring headline hog, Miley Cyrus, and an under high school band called Sea Ghost.
In a recent interview with MTV News, iLoveMakonnen spoke about working on a new song with Miley Cyrus that will easily make the tears fall from anyone's eyes. He also has some magic in the works with famed producer, Mike Will Made It.
"I got a song with her — wrote a few songs for her,” he said. “Working on her new album. Doing some stuff with Mike Will and her. It’s almost like a Grammy nomination song, because it’s kind of heartfelt, and almost country,” he added. “It’s gonna be deep when it comes out. It’s definitely not like the clubby type of poppy record. It’s more like a real timeless, heartfelt record that’s gonna be picked up in movies and sh–. Girls are gonna cry over their ex-boyfriends to it, and the same for guys crying over their girl.”
In related news, iLoveMakonnen took a trip to Marietta, GA to lay a track with high school band Sea Ghost. The underground band sent him a song via email and it's been history ever since. Listen to their new track "Running Away" below:
