Glee star Chris Colfer‘s Twitter account was recently hacked, with an imposter posting that the actor had been “let go” from the Fox series before Colfer’s manager and Fox explained what had happened.
On Tuesday’s Good Morning America, Colfer voiced his annoyance at the incident.

“Some jerk hacked me,” Colfer said when George Stephanopoulos brought up what happened. “It was very upsetting.”
Responding to the tweets saying he’d been fired from the show and was leaving, Colfer stated that it “would not happen.”
“It was a pain. It really was,” he said.

The actor added that he’s not yet feeling bittersweet about Glee‘s final season.
“It’s kind of like saying, ‘Oh, I only have one more mountain to climb. You’ve got to climb it before you can look back on it.’ I think once the show’s over is when I’ll be able to reflect that it’s done,” Colfer explained.

“Now we’re in it, and our show’s so hard to do that you just gotta get through the season before I can let myself reminisce,” he added.
Colfer also talked about the third book in his Land of Stories series, A Grimm Warning, which is now on sale.
