IFC Midnight has picked up U.S. rights to Schorr Pictures’ demonic possession tale Inner Demons, directed by Seth Grossman, produced by Robin Schorr and written by Glenn Gers. The film stars Lara Vosburgh as a 16-year-old girl fighting addiction, who may be possessed by a demon, as she is being followed by a reality show crew.
The cast also includes Morgan McClellan, Colleen McGrann, Kate Whitney and Brian Flaherty.
The film had its world premiere at the recent Los Angeles Film Festival.
The deal was negotiated by Arianna Bocco, senior vp of acquisitions & productions, and Sean Berney, manager of acquisitions, for Sundance Selects/IFC Films with Josh Braunof Submarine and Linda Lichter of Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Adler and Feldman repping the filmmakers.
IFC Midnight is a sister label to IFC Films and Sundance Selects, and is owned and operated by AMC Networks Inc.
