The Big Brother house opened its doors again on Wednesday night, giving CBS the night’s top broadcast across the Big Four.
With an average 6.64 million viewers and a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49, Big Brother was up compared to last summer’s premiere — albeit by just a tenth of a point in the key demo. Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance (1.4 adults) took a hit against the new reality competition, falling 18 percent from last week’s season high.

NBC had a new series, Taxi Brooklyn, at 10 p.m. With an encore lead-in from America’s Got Talent, the drama opened to a modest 1.0 rating with adults under 50. The 12-episode series, which already aired in France, comes from EuropaCorp Television.
A new episode of Motive (0.7 adults), ABC’s own 10 o’clock import, dropped three-tenths of a point to a season low.
