WEST SACRAMENTO-

The City of West Sacramento said Friday that it is enacting mandatory water restrictions.

Using drinkable water for washing streets, parking lots or buildings is no longer allowed. Watering lawns and landscaping between noon and 6 p.m. is also prohibited.

Similar to other cities with drought restrictions, washing a car with a hose that doesn’t have a shutoff nozzle is forbidden.

West Sacramento, like Sacramento, has also adopted an odd/even watering schedule for lawns. To find your schedule, click here.
