Chance the Rapper has been hospitalized and will miss his Coachella set at the festival’s closing day.
The rising Chicago rapper — who last weekend brought out Justin Bieber for a guest performance during his set — was scheduled to perform Sunday at 3:10 on the main stage. But hours before his set, a photo of Chance in a hospital bed was posted to his Instagram account (and later apparently deleted).
Chance had tweeted Friday night he wasn’t feeling well, following a show in Las Vegas, but said he’d have a full recovery in time for his Coachella set. His management followed up on his Twitter account after posting the Instagram picture to announce his cancelation:
On behalf of @chancetherapper and our entire team- We sincerely regret to have to cancel our 2nd weekend at coachella. -CTR MGMT
