America’s Got Talent notched another win for NBC.
The talent competition series was the top-rated and most-watched program on Tuesday, averaging 9.5 million viewers and jumping 5 percent to a 2.1 rating among the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic. Lead-in Food Fighters (4.7 million, 1.1) also saw a 10 percent increase. NBC won the night in viewership (7.8 million) and in 18-49 (1.8).
ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise (4.8 million, 1.3) was steady, while a 20/20 special (3.8 million, 0.8) slipped 11 percent. ABC was second on the evening in 18-49 (1.2), though it placed third in viewers (4.5 million).
The CW aired a Maroon 5 album release party special for V (734,000, 0.2), which delivered a mediocre rating. Fox and CBS aired repeats.
