You have to setup PATH for adb.(Search the guide)
Maybe other tool contains adb.exe, but it can be used only with its tool.

I think so. I tried it on my phone yesterday and it works. The firmware version was 10.31.A.2.67 HK. Before trying it I had performed a repair with PC Companion.

I'm using Xperia Z ultra and I've downgraded to .532 UK, it says success but when I install SperSU, it says "there is no SU binary installed, this is a problem" and then SuperSU just closes down...

Tried it also with HK .532

I used the root kit from http://xdaforums.com/show....php?t=2559009 its says success but its seems it did not install the binary or the root app, I'm sure I have the right driver since I was able to use the flashtool to downgrade....

I've got USB debugging and unknown sources checked
Need help, getting confused already, hehe

Redownload rootkitXperia_20131207.zip (NOT rootkitZ_20131112.zip) and run it again.
rootkitXperia installs SuperSU automatically, so you don't need to install SuperSU if rooting is succeeded correctly.

I could be able to root my phone

    Sony Xperia Z TMobile
    Model number: C6606
    Android version: 4.2.2
    Build number: 10.3.1.E.0.191

    Here what I did.

    Prepare

    1. Download and install Android SDK
    2. Turn on USB debugging mode (Settings => About phone => Tab on the Build number 6 or 7 times => Developer options appear => Select Developer options => Check USB debugging)
    3. Install Xperia Z driver

    Root

    1. I downloaded and tried this version "rootkitZ_20131112.zip", but it failed
    2. Then I downloaded and tried this version "rootkitXperia_20131207.zip", but I got error (unknown adb...)
    3. I copied "adb.exe" "AdbWinApi.dll" "AdbWinUsbApi.dll" from version #1 above to version #2 => then double click on adb.exe (try to copy these 3 files to different folder of the #2 method, if it doesn't work)
    4. Re-run #2 install.bat (I confirmed this method works, rootkitXperia_20131207, but must run or copy the adb file over from method 1)
    5. See attached for proof

    Hope this helps someone. :)

Note: since I rarely post, the forum doesn't allowed me to add link, see this file for links
