It’s no wonder that Jason Momoa was cast as Khal Drogo.
The actor appeared on the first season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, and his initial audition tape for the show has just now gone viral.
In the clip, Momoa doesn’t say any lines from the show but instead breaks out into a haka, which is a battle cry or dance of the Maori people of New Zealand.

Suffice it to say, it’s an effective choice on his part, and it’s not difficult to see why the actor, who plays Aquaman in 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, got the part.
