RANCHO CORDOVA-

A fire broke out early Saturday morning in Rancho Cordova, according to Metro Fire.

Just after 5 a.m. fire crews headed to Briarwood Mobile Home Park near Folsom Road because a trailer had caught fire. When crews arrived, the trailer was engulfed in flames. Crews searched the home and learned nobody was in the home at the time of the fire.

The home was damaged severely, and firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the neighboring homes.

Nobody was injured in the fire and though the cause is currently under investigation, it is considered suspicious. Metro Fire asks that anybody with information regarding this fire call the Arson Tip Line at 916-859-3775.
