Wondering whether 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will have the same level of citywide carnage as last year’s Man of Steel? A new video from the set of Zack Snyder’s sequel reveals that the answer is apparently “yes.”
The video was shot by Detroit news channel WXYZ, and features the construction of what appears to be the aftermath of some suitably-apocalyptic event, including crushed Metropolis police cars and the rubble of a building bearing signage identifying it as “Wayne Financial.”

According to reports, location shooting in Detroit is scheduled to run through the end of summer, before moving to Chicago in October; that latter city has previously doubled for Batman’s hometown of Gotham City for the Christopher Nolan-directed Dark Knight trilogy, perhaps suggesting that BvS will feature scenes in both Superman’s Metropolis and Gotham City.
