Product Description

This ingenious design has both a USB and a Micro-USB connector

The Easy Way to Move Photos, Music, and Videos Between Your Android Phone or Tablet and Your PC

Imagine no more emailing photos to yourself, hunting for a USB cable, or running out of room on your USB OTG compatible Android phone or tablet. Flash Voyager GO is the quick and easy way to move photos, music, and videos between your mobile devices and your PCs and dramatically increase your devices’ storage.

The ingenious design has both a USB and a Micro-USB connector, so you can copy photos and videos to your desktop or notebook PC for safekeeping, share music and media between your PCs and your Android device, or just leave it connected to the Micro-USB port for a huge boost to your device’s storage capacity.

Note: Some of the listed capacity on a Flash storage device is used for formatting and other functions and thus is not available for data storage. The actual available capacity for data storage is less than what is listed on the products.

Designed for Android Devices with USB On-The-Go Support

Flash Voyager GO has both a USB 3.0 connector for your PC or Mac, and a Micro-USB connector for your Android phone or tablet. It requires a newer Android device with USB On-The-Go (also known as USB OTG) support.

The Accessorizable Accessory

Flash Voyager GO includes two color-coordinated keycaps for customizing the look.

The Solution to Your Photo and Video Problem

Have you ever snapped a photo, and then emailed it to yourself so you’d have a copy on your PC? Have you ever backed up your photos and videos to a low-resolution site like Facebook or Instagram, and then deleted them to save room? Or, do you simply like taking photos and videos more than you like to manage your photo collection? Flash Voyager GO is here to help. Any time you want to share some media or clear room on your Android phone or tablet, just attach the Flash Voyager GO, select and copy the images and videos you’d like to save, and then copy them to your desktop or notebook PC at your leisure. You don’t need to be at your PC or hunt for a USB cable. And unlike cloud storage, Flash Voyager GO lets you keep control of your media and there’s never a monthly fee.

Good to Go

The lanyard makes it easy to attach to your keychain.

Dramatically Increase Your Device’s Storage

The typical smartphone or tablet has 8GB or 16GB of memory. That might seem like a lot at first, but once you add apps, odds are that it just doesn’t have enough room for all the music, photos, and videos in your collection. And, upgrading your device’s memory card – or worse yet, replacing it with a higher-capacity model – can be an expensive proposition. With Flash Voyager GO, just attach it to your PC, copy your collection, and then snap it in to the Micro-USB port on your mobile device any time you want.

Portable Size

At only 37 mm total length, you’ll want to take it everywhere.

OTG file transfer is like Gold!

OTG file transfer is like Gold!
Whats amazing about this OTG device is how tiny it is..It fits standard usb, but just looking at it, you would think otherwise. I plugged it into my Samsung Note 4, it accessed all my images and ported them over to the flash drive very fast and easy! This thing moves files quick! Highly recommended. Does exactly what its intended for.

Being that I travel a lot and I have Nexus 7 (2013) table, I didn’t want to fill it up my table with movies that would reduce my storage space. I began to do research on other methods of increasing the storage for my Nexus 7 (2013) table and low behold, i saw the words “On The Go” Flash drive aka OTG Flash drive. I was researching which OTG Micro USB drive to get I did'nt like what was on the market. Until the CES 2014 and saw that Corsair was going to produce OTG Micro USB 3.0 drive and release it in Febuary. I purchased this item with no hesitation. I received the item in a small secure package. This device is great and my Nexus 7 (2013) recognized the external storage with no issues. I am able to see videos on my table with no issues and transfer files between each device. I will say Micro drive is small and can be lost easly but that was fixed easyly by attaching it to a key ring. I would recommend a App called Nexus Media Importer, it’s a great app that assists in transferring data from the phone/tablet to external storage or external storage to phone/tablet. I great thing about this device is you can plug it up to you computer as well and use as only USB drive if you want. I would recommmond this product, plus you can't beat Corsair.

As the owner of a Samsung tablet and smartphone, I've been on the lookout for easy ways to get data to and from each of them, particularly since I've been having problems with timeouts and inaccurate directory listings when the phone is connected directly to my computer via USB cable. I finally decided to bite the bullet and look for an OTG flash drive solution.

I picked the Corsair Flash Voyager GO on the strength of the generally positive reviews, the brand name, and the price (it was on sale for $17.99 at the time I bought the 32GB version). After spending some time testing it, I have mixed emotions about it. If you see it on sale for the price I was given, then I can recommend it. Otherwise, I think there are better and, in particular, faster solutions out there.

My first impression of the Voyager GO was that it was tiny. It's very thin and pretty short. There's a standard USB connector on one side and a microUSB plus on the other. The microUSB plug has a cap; the standard USB connector does not. That worries me a little, particularly for a device that's intended to be used on the go. It wasn't immediately clear from the pictures or the description that one side didn't include a cap.

The Voyager GO ships with two caps: one black and one yellow, so you can change out the black cap for a yellow one if you want to. It seems rather useless to me, but okay.... The device includes a small lanyard so that you can attach it to, e.g., a keychain. The lanyard also attaches the microUSB cap to the main body of the flash drive to make sure that you don't lose the cap.

I was able to transfer files to and from my phone and my tablet with ease, as both devices and my computer and laptop recognized the flash drive without anything else needed. So why am I not giving this a better score? Two reasons: the first is that the microUSB connector is just a wee bit out of spec and I have to jiggle it a bit to get it to work properly with the tablet. The second, and more compelling, reason is that it's slow on the USB 3.0 side. I tested this against a couple of other USB 3.0 flash drives and in each case it was 20-40% slower, whether testing with large files, a large set of smaller files, cached or uncached. The whole point about moving up to USB 3.0 is to get the increased speed and this drive was barely above USB 2.0 speeds.

The drive does work, it's small, certainly easy to carry in a pocket (although use the lanyard to attach it to something so that you don't lose it) but the omission of the USB cap, the very slightly out-of-spec microUSB connector, and the slow speeds mean that I can't give it a better rating. As I say above, if it's inexpensive, it's definitely worth a look. Otherwise, I'd look for a faster, better protected option.

I was mortified when I realized where my flash drive went. It's so small, it's very easy to forget if you put it in your pocket (all the more reason to put it on your keyring). Not only did it work, but it was fully functional. The only evidence of the entire event is a bit of paint missing where the USB plugs into the computer.

No bloatware, extremely durable, USB OTG and USB 3.0. I didn't even need a flash drive at the time I bought this, but not I'm definitely glad I did.

It works perfectly fine as as a thumbdrive. Even better as a thumbdrive that you can plug to both your PC and your OTG supported device. For convenience sake you can't beat something as compact and practical as this.

However, as a USB3.0 device? It's barely any better than a USB2.0. Transferring large media files, I was only able to do a sustained 20+mb/s; compared to the Patriot Supersonic USB3.0 that I have which does a sustained 60+mb/s.

That said, the Patriot Supersonic is also bigger and doesn't do OTG. I wish I can do away with the larger thumbdrive entirely, but at the speed it's offering compared to the Corsair Flash Voyager Go, I still have to hang on to it.

Just got it today and it was working great, I was going to give it a 5 star review, but the full USB 3.0 part randomly became unrecognized from my PC. Not even a pop up appears, I checked all drives, no signs of it at all, it worked 10 minutes ago. I tried with 2 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports and an entirely different PC, my other USB stick is working completely fine in all of those ports. This is weird, because the micro USB part works completely fine and I even reformatted it from my phone, yet still doesn't work from the full USB side. It basically became a useless brick in less than 2 hours of usage

Keeping this in my wishlist because I'll probably order more over the years, and later models etc. Big corsair voyager fan, excited when I found out about the GO. Works great when paired with android devies (or other microusb devices) and my laptop. My Galaxy S5 has a 64 GB micro sd as well as the 16 factory gigs, and this can give it that extra 32 when I need it. Great to have on a keychain and to use as kind of your own storage partitioned from all of your devices. Very practical, will be buying more. Two lid colors = great, it's minor but I love the yellow lid black body look.
