CBS was the only broadcast network to post gains across all series on Wednesday night — albeit modest ones for Survivor (2.4 rating) and Criminal Minds (2.3 rating), each of which moved up a tenth of a point with adults 18-49. CSI finished steady with last year’s finale, rising two-tenths of a point from last week for a 1.9 rating in the demo. CBS averaged a 2.2 rating with adults 18-49 and 10 million viewers.
A steady American Idol, now officially renewed for a 14th season on Fox, averaged a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.8 million viewers.

ABC brought series lows for both The Middle (1.5 adults) and Suburgatory (1.2 adults), each dropping three-tenths of a point in the key demo. Modern Family (2.8 adults) topped all other series for the night, dead even with last week’s showing. Mixology (1.3 adults) and Nashville (1.2 adults) were also steady, giving ABC a 1.5 rating with adults under 50 and 5.3 million viewers over the course of the night.
Revolution (1.1 adults), still up in the air for a renewal, slipped two-tenths of a point to a new series low on NBC. Renewed Law & Order: SVU (1.4 adults) took a four-tenths of a point hit, tying Chicago P.D. (1.4 adults) — which was down by a half of a point. NBC took a 1.3 rating and 4.8 million viewers on Wednesday night.
The 100 (0.6 adults) continues to hold steady on The CW, while Arrow (0.7 adults) dropped a tenth of a point.
