An 11-year-old Marysville boy was reunited with his mother for the first time since April 28 after police tracked down and arrested his abductor Wednesday.
Aaron Sullivan, 36, was arrested and booked into Yuba County Jail after police said he failed to return his son to the child's mother following a court ordered visit.
Sullivan allegedly told the mother she would never see her child again.
Marysville Police Department worked with police in Sacramento and Citrus Heights, as well as state Welfare Investigators to find Sullivan and the child.
Marysville Det. Chris Miller said Sullivan moved between towns frequently and died his hair to avoid detection.
The child was reunited with his mother the same day he was found.
She was "a very happy mother," Miller said.
