Charred clothing still on scene as day break settles in from the #orlandcrash

ORLAND-

Victims injured in Thursday night’s crash between a bus carrying Los Angeles high school students and their chaperones, and a FedEx truck were taken to several area hospitals for treatment.

The collision happened about 90 minutes north of Sacramento. Ten people died when the truck and charter bus crashed, and about 30 people were injured.

Of those who died, five were students, three were adult chaperones on the bus, and both the truck and bus driver.

The injured were taken to multiple hospitals.

St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Red Bluff.received six patients, three have already been treated and released overnight. Two others are still being treated and are currently in critical condition. The sixth victim taken to Red Bluff had to be transferred to another facility because of the seriousness of their injuries.

FOX40 has learned at least one victim was taken to the UC Davis burn unit in Sacramento, their condition is not known at this time.

Mercy Hospital in Redding tells FOX40 they received five victims from the crash, they were all treated and released overnight. Shasta Regional Medical Center took two teenage girls; one is in serious condition, the other is in stable condition.

Other hospitals treating victims of this crash include Glenn Medical Center in Willows, Oroville Hospital, and Enloe medical Center in Chico.
