CALAVERAS COUNTY-
The Murphys Hotel in Calaveras County was featured on Tuesday’s season finale of “Hotel Hell.”
“I used to be a big Gordon Ramsay fan,” hotel bartender Brian Goss said. “I’d describe him as a chihuahua. He walks around barking and then he’s running away.”
Goss said he and Ramsay were constantly at odds with each other when the episode was filmed, in March 2013.
Ramsay didn’t do much to the bar during his visit. Instead, staff said his biggest changes were to the lobby, bedding and paint.
