ROCKLIN-
Students were evacuated from Whitney High School Tuesday after a report of a possible explosive device on campus.
Rocklin Police say no such device was ever found.
Students were moved to the baseball field for a short time before being sent home. It was unclear if they were allowed back on campus to gather belongings.
According to a school resource officer, the caller said the bomb was in the cafeteria and that the call came in toward the end of lunch time.
Around 1,900 kids attend Whitney.
