After being courted by multiple studios, Friends alum Scott Silveri has a new home.
The writer-producer whose credits include Friends and spinoff Joey as well as Matthew Perry‘s Go On has inked a three-year overall deal with studio 20th Century Fox Television, The Hollywood Reporter has learned
Under the pact, the Universal Television alum will develop, write and supervise comedies for the studio.

“We are huge fans of Scott’s, going all the way back to the work he did on Friends. I loved the pilot for Go On — it was incredibly bold, distinctive and, of course, really funny,” 20th Century Fox TV chairman and CEO Dana Walden said. “Scott is very talented and incredibly entertaining. If the meetings trying to get him to move to TCFTV are any indication, we are going to have a fantastic time working with him.”
Silveri, whose credits include Perfect Couples, is repped by WME and Rohner Walerstein.
At the studio, Silveri joins a roster of showrunners that includes Glee’sRyan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, Modern Family‘s Steve Levitan and Chris Lloyd as well as Matt Nix and Kevin Hench (Cristela).
