SACRAMENTO-

Raley’s and the Salvation Army are teaming up to provide produce for local families in need.

The “Food For Families Fresh” program allows families the opportunity pick out $40 worth of fruits and vegetables, free of charge.

The event started Tuesday morning at the Salvation Army location on Raley Boulevard in North Sacramento and lasts until 100 families make their way through the line, which could be as soon as noon.
