Former View co-host Sherri Shepherd returned to ABC on Tuesday and joked about The View‘s new co-hosts and set.
Appearing on Good Morning America to talk about her role in Cinderella on Broadway, Shepherd, who looked particularly happy and energetic, noted that both Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg had come to see the show, sharing impressions of both of her former colleagues.
After GMA co-host Robin Roberts noted that Shepherd had impersonated two of the View hosts, Shepherd went into an impression of Rosie O’Donnell.

She began by mocking O’Donnell taking off her shoes on the first show of The View‘s new season, repeatedly lifting one of her legs in the air and saying, “Here’s my foot. I’m Rosie O’Donnell.”

“I got sciatica in my back. And I’m going through depression. … How many other ailments can I get? I got 12 more in the year that I’ll be on The View,” Shepherd continued, nodding and saying “There you go” at the end of her bit.
She returned to the O’Donnell impression at other points in her interview, but insisted that she loves The View and the new lineup of hosts and watches the show every morning, screaming at the TV during Hot Topics.

Shepherd also shared her thoughts on new View co-host Nicolle Wallace, saying that Wallace is her “favorite kind of Republican because she can be changed.”
And she even got in a dig at the show’s new set, which has changed since the new season premiered.
“They got a new set. ‘Cause it was all white it was kind of like heaven, but they fight too much so it wasn’t heaven. But they borrowed some of, kind of, the colors from GMA, so I’m loving the colors,” she said.
