Ahead of the Oct. 17 release of The Book of Life, the animated collaboration between Gullermo del Toro and Jorge R. Guiterrez, Dark Horse Comics has released The Art of The Book of Life, a collection of concept art from the visually stunning movie.
The hardcover features artwork from Guiterrez, the Mexican animator best known for the Nickelodeon series El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera who co-wrote and directed the movie, with additional commentary and artwork from Paul Sullivan, the movie’s art director. Producer Del Toro provides a foreword.
