Kate Hudson couldn’t keep a straight face as she played a game of “Box of Lies” with Jimmy Fallon on Monday night’s episode of The Tonight Show.
The Wish I Was Here star sneakily disguised a spoon in a bowl of pennies and followed up by describing “something that was like a turtle but in a mold” to win the face-off.
Fallon was later joined by Boyhood star Ellar Coltrane, who after being filmed for 15 days a year between 2002-2013 is now seeing his life story hit the big screen. “I didn’t see any of it until the end,” said the 19-year-old.
“You took us on a wild ride — for 12 years you did something that no one else has done,” Fallon gushed.
Over on ABC, the Guardians of the Galaxy cast — Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel and Dave Bautista — took on five-year-old “Marvel Comics expert” Mia in an intense showdown to see who knew their comic-book lore best on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
To say Mia smoked the entire cast is an understatement. She dominated the competition, finishing with a 15-0 rout and winning a trip to Disneyland and a cart full of Guardians toys.

Seth Meyers later made a jab at Comic-Con guests, saying San Diego is moving the city’s homeless out before the event because “they don’t want attendees to know that there is something worse than living in your parent’s basement.”
Seth and guest Zach Braff then revealed that they went to Northwestern University at the same time, but the Late Night host still mixes up Braff’s cell phone number. “You are the person who has wrong-texted me more than anyone else in my life,” said the Scrubs star.
Braff also explained how, after having more than 46,000 people donate to the Kickstarter campaign for his latest film, “I promised I would read anything they wanted,” including a message for a dentist asking patients to turn off their cell phones.
On CBS, Dumb and Dumber star Jeff Daniels told David Letterman that he and co-star Jim Carrey “haven’t gotten a whole lot smarter” when they return for the long-awaited sequel, Dumb and Dumber To.
