STOCKTON-

Stockton Police believe one man may have sexually assaulted two women, one month and two miles apart.

Sunday, Nov. 9, at 7:30 p.m., police responded to Pacific Avenue near Bristol Lane. An 86-year-old woman who lives at the home told police a man sexually assaulted her after crawling through an open window.

Police say she only knew the suspect was a man.

“We want to know who this suspect is, arrest him, so he can’t do harm to anyone else,” Stockton Police Officer Joe Silva said.

Silva told FOX40 police also responded to Stratford Circle, near Pacific Avenue, just one month earlier, on Oct. 8. A 63-year-old woman who lives there told police a man sexually assaulted her after breaking into her home.

That woman gave police a description of the suspect. She said it was a man with dark skin and a medium build last seen wearing a dark hoodie and and Oakland A’s hat.

Stockton Police believe this person may have committed both crimes.

“It’s very scary. It’s very upsetting. It’s sad, distressing. Sick,” a neighbor, Abbie, told FOX40.

Abbie regularly walks along Pacific Avenue, right past where one of those sexual assaults took place. Although the news scared her, she said she chooses not to live in fear.

“This is the reason why you need to lock your doors and windows and don’t answer the door late at night to strangers,” Silva said.

Stockton Police are asking for the public’s help in finding justice for these two women. If you have any information, contact them anonymously:
