SkyKick, a Seattle-based startup that helps IT partners move businesses to Office 365, has raised an additional $3 million in capital to help fuel growth abroad.

The 40-person company raised the fresh cash from a group of private equity investors, including Tim Ferriss and Navin Thukkaram.

SkyKick is formerly known as CloudVisors, which launched in April 2011. It charges a monthly fee to IT partners, which use SkyKick’s application suite to help move their customers to the cloud-based Office 365.

The company, a 2013 Microsoft Partner of the Year, is run by co-CEO and co-founder Todd Schwartz, who was previously a former Microsoft online services product manager for seven years. Co-CEO Evan Richman, another former Microsoftie, is the other founder.

SkyKick, which has raised $7.2 million to date, will use the new round to accelerate international expansion and double its workforce within the next year.
