I think that DSEE-HX is software only, but it is possible that Sony also did something with HW to reproduce clearer sound. And is weird that when it has Hi-Res sticker, it won't play DSD Audio, but only FLAC, WAV etc.

Many devices may already have DSEE from ZX1 already. Are they the same or this one do even better?
anyway, High resolution audio is it just the 24bit/ 192kHz resolution?
Coz in DreamingOnMusic mod, i got 32bit/ 491.5MHz for my Z1 !!

Actually the 491.5 MHz frequencies are not for our ears(and of course we can't hear above 40kHz),it is for headphones and hifies which has the good spec like sony, pioneer, etc.the over frequencies will gives out the more clearer background instrumental sounds and more bass on those things has a big driver(of course IEM will note the background instrumental clear as it doesn't has the big driver to let the bass appear more then the hifies)
And this frequency cause a electronic noise at background while the songs are silent………==lll

OMG! Z3 is propably capable to decode DSD format = SACD!

In the files posted above is file named: "libstagefright_soft_dsddec.so" - dsddec - DSD Decoder!? This needs to be ported! :D

I got "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Invalid status." when I open audio settings...
You got this error because of audioflinger :p

I am becoming close to success but it's not yet working.

I must find a way to patch some libs.

Just by adding the Stagefright module will not make the codec itself loaded. You will need the library "libstagefright_omx.so" from the Z3, or recompile it (if you have the sources), just like the DTS and E-AC3 codec from LG :)

And, I don't think the files provided contain the complete package required to port the sound enhancements. Maybe I'll download the system dump :)

Any clue about shared libraries used by audio...

Also do you think that we could build needed libraries from source by patching Z2 one?

I have been able to start Z3 SoundEnhancement by removing some stuffs missing in .so files

But at least S-Force worked on Z1,(Obvious difference in sound, also not supposed to be for Z1) why cant the same be applied on DSEE?
    (sorry i'm a noob)
Some things need only some more files or code to work, like S force.

Others like DSEE need new files but also modification of files already there. We can't edit some needed libraries.

    ;)
