Les Moonves earned $66.9 million in 2013 as CEO and president of CBS, up from $62.2 million a year earlier.
The executive’s pay was disclosed in a regulatory filing on Friday.
In 2013, CBS stock rose 69 percent, outpacing the 30 percent made by the S&P 500.
Previously, CBS reported that in 2013 its revenue climbed 9 percent to $15.3 billion while net earnings rose 19 percent to $1.9 billion.
“CBS continues to turn in stellar performances year in and year out, and none better than 2013,” executive chairman Sumner Redstone said in February, when CBS posted its full-year results.

Redstone, a multibillionaire and one of the richest men in the world, earned $57.2 million at CBS in 2013, up from $31.3 million.
Joseph Ianniello, the COO for CBS, was paid $24.6 million, up from $12.2 million due in large part to soaring option awards.
Louis Briskman, president and general counsel, earned $9.9 million, down from $10 million, and Anthony Ambrosio, the chief administrative officer and chief human resources officer, was paid $4.1 million, up from $4 million.
In January, CBS’ sister company, Viacom, where Redstone is also executive chairman, said that CEO Philippe Dauman earned $37.2 million in 2013, up from $33.5 million a year earlier.
