Misfit for iOS updated with support for multiple Shine wearable activity trackers

August 31, 2014

Misfit has just updated its official iOS companion app with improved support for its flagship product, the Misfit Shine wearable activity tracker.

Specifically, the latest update to Misfit for iOS adds support for multiple Shines. “Use multiple Shines to track your activity,” Misfit notes, “get colorful!”

Indeed, the Misfit Shine comes in a variety of colors, including grey, jet, topaz, champagne, Coca-Cola red, storm, coral, wine, and sea glass. And no matter their colors, if you happen to own two or more Shines, you can now connect them to the Misfit app and view their data all in one place.

The new version of Misfit for iOS also includes performance improvements and stability enhancements.

Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch, Misfit for iOS is available on the App Store for free.

The Misfit Shine is available to purchase through the Misfit online store for $99.99. For more information on the device, check out our review here on AppAdvice.

The Misfit app was updated earlier this month with support for the popular food and calorie tracking app MyFitnessPal. It was also updated in the past couple of months with support for the Pebble smart watch and the Beddit sleep monitor.
