Bellis reaches quarters in French Open girls doubles

   Seventh-seeded CiCi Bellis of Atherton in the San Francisco Bay Area and Marketa Vondrousova of the Czech Republic dismantled Katarina Jokic of Serbia and Helen Ploskina of Ukraine 6-2, 6-2 today to reach the quarterfinals in French Open junior girls doubles in Paris.
   Bellis, a 15-year-old right-hander, and Vondrousova, a 14-year-old left-hander, have not lost more than two games in a set in their two matches.
   They will face Simona Heinova of the Czech Republic and Anastasiya  Komardina of Russia. In a matchup of unseeded teams, they downed Tessah Andrianjafitrimo and Emmanuelle Salas of France 6-2, 6-2.
   Heinova and Komardina ousted No. 3 seeds Katie Boulter of Great Britain and Ivana Jorovic of Serbia 1-6, 6-3 [10-6] in the first round.
   Bellis and Vondrousova are one of two remaining seeded teams. No. 4 Naiktha Bains of Australia and Tornado Alicia Black of Boca Raton, Fla., are in the other half of the draw.
