Apparently, keeping your cool while dealing with alien xenomorphs runs in the family.
A new trailer for Alien: Isolation, titled “Improvise,” was released online Wednesday, showing the lead character of the game — and daughter of Sigourney Weaver’s character from the movies, Ellen Ripley — trying to escape from the xenomorphs while retrieving a piece of technology that tells her exactly what she doesn’t want to know.
Weaver herself makes an appearance in an expanded version of the game alongside her fellow cast members from the 1979 original movie as part of two alternate missions set during the Ridley Scott movie. Both the regular and expanded “Nostromo” editions of Alien: Isolation will be released for multiple platforms including Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, in October.
