A politician is perpetually under scrutiny, and rightly so, because of the sensitivity of the positions they occupy. So, when one comes across a campaign banner that is littered with grammatical errors, it’s always a cause for alarm.
Somewhere, along Solomon street, Alapere, Ketu, there is a campaign banner of a young politician, ‘Toyin Balogun’, who wants to contest for office, under the umbrella of the major opposition broom-wielding party, All Progressives Congress, APC.
The young APC politician is beaming from ear to ear in his campaign banner, which has the error strewn captions, “It’s Always look impossible until it’s done” and “Loyalty is our strengths”.
Benign errors, some would say, but if someone aspiring for political office can’t get a campaign caption right, what exactly can he get right?
