Terry O’Quinn is back at ABC.
The Lost and 666 Park Avenue alum has booked the male lead in the network’s drama pilot The Adversaries, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The drama explores what happens when the patriarch of a New York legal dynasty becomes embroiled in a trial of his own, forcing his federal-prosecutor daughter to decide which side she will fight on.

O’Quinn is set as Charlie, the head of law firm Fisher, Fisher and Herrero. He’s estranged from both his oldest daughter, Jess, as ?well as his wife, Katherine — who both feel that he has some ?culpability in his son Kyle’s downward struggle and eventual death.
When Charlie is arrested in connection with the Cooper Landings case, his wife convinces Jess to lead his defense team. The character winds up embarrassed when his family learns of an affair and financial woes following an embezzlement.
ER‘s David Zabel will pen the script and exec produce the ABC Studios drama, which will film in Los Angeles. Stephen Cragg will direct the pilot.
For O’Quinn, the role marks his latest at ABC, following Lost and the short-lived thriller 666 Park Avenue. His most recent credits include CBS’ Hawaii Five-0, Fox’s Gang Related and the second season of DirecTV’s Full Circle. He’s repped by LBI Entertainment and Jackoway Tyerman.
