VACAVILLE-
An 18-year-old has died after being shot while in his truck at an apartment complex in Vacaville.
Around 1:30 Monday morning, he was sitting inside his pickup truck when he was shot in the head. His truck was in the parking lot of the Canyon Creek Apartments along Aegean Way.
He was rushed to the hospital, but died from his injuries.
FOX40 has learned the teen was Demetrious Ward, and was a senior at Vacaville High School. School officials say some students have gone home for the day, counseling is being provided for those who need it.
No information about the suspect has been released at this time.
