SACRAMENTO-

An elementary school employee was arrested Tuesday for allegedly having child pornography.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children got a tip from an internet service provider that images had been downloaded. They, in turn, contacted the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.

A search of the ISP address led detectives to 21-year-old Marcus Antonio Rubio.

Rubio recently worked as a recreational aid at Coyle Elementary. The school’s principal, in a voicemail sent to parents, said there was no indication that the images Rubio is accused of having have anything to do with children at Coyle.

Rubio is being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail on $50,000 bond.
