Last week, the new Batmobile was unveiled to the world via a tweet from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder — but a few bystanders in Detroit, where the movie is currently filming, have caught Batman’s sweet new ride in action and posted Instagram videos of the Batmobile speeding through the city.
Videos have been popping up on social media all week, but the clearest looks seem to be these two Instagram posts from shivy_honey, who includes appropriate musical accompaniment with the second clip.
A similar video had appeared earlier this week on Instagram, from user ra_el7.
If nothing else, the videos prove two things about the superhero movie starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot: First, Batman’s driving skills still haven’t gotten around to “able to take corners well,” and second, criminals in Gotham will have no problem getting away from Batman when he drives a car that loud.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released in March 2016.
