“Its pretty scary to a lot of us around here,” said Georgina Pritchard, a member of the Auburn Woods Homeowners Association.
Three business were broken into. The thieves ransacked the place only taking money.
“[They] preyed the door open. They used pry bar, pried it down, bent the jam, came in, went through the desk and scattered stuff all over the place, ” said Wade Bowman, owner of Look Sharp Salon in Auburn.
The thieves also attempted to break into another business, but were unsuccessful.
A few miles further down the road on Lincoln Way, four apartments and condos in Auburn Woods community were hit Sunday night. Pritchard says the criminals were brazen.
“One of the guys, they took his cellphone and it was right next to his bed stand. He was right there when they came in so they were pretty brazen kids,” said Pritchard.
