SAN FRANCISCO (CNN)-

A suspicious fire broke out on Monday night at the house featured in the 1993 movie ‘Mrs. Doubtfire.’

Burn marks could be seen on the garage door and front door of the home in San Francisco.

Police said an arsonist used gasoline to start the fire.

The homeowner, a doctor, said he has an ongoing issue with a former patient.

Just five months ago, hundreds of people converged on the property to drop off flowers after news of the death of Robin Williams.

For days, mourning fans came to the house to grieve and pay tribute to the actor who played Mrs. Doubtfire.
