Justin Timberlake is winding down his 20/20 Experience world tour, announcing that the final two shows will take place on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena and be filmed by Jonathan Demme.
Best known for directing The Silence of the Lambs and such concert docs as Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense and Neil Young‘s Heart of Gold, filmmaker, producer and screenwriter Demme is teaming with producer Gary Goetzman, credited on the upcoming HBO miniseries Olive Kitteridge, for the as-yet-unrevealed Timberlake project.
Timberlake returns to the road on Nov. 20, playing Portland’s Moda Center before continuing on to 16 more shows including stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and Chicago.
