Colin Firth has a very unusual way of dealing with thugs — yes, an umbrella is involved — in the latest trailer for the upcoming action flick Kingsman: The Secret Service.
Firth plays secret agent Harry Hart, who may be in over his head when he tries to turn a wayward young man into a fellow spy. If nothing else, there’s no denying that the neophyte is good to have around when you’re about to drown.
Samuel L. Jackson has perhaps the best line of the trailer when his character, who isn’t fond of gore, offers this admonishment in the middle of a fight: “If you get blood on the carpets, you have to take the carpets up.”
Taron Egerton, Michael Caine and Mark Strong also star. Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class) directed and co-wrote the script with Jane Goldman. The film is adapted from Mark Millar‘s comic series The Secret Service.
Kingsman: The Secret Service hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015, pitting it against Fifty Shades of Grey.
