Nick Cannon‘s improv comedy sketch series Wild ‘N Out has a return date.
The MTV2 series will begin a 16-episode season — its sixth if the original MTV run is counted — Wednesday, July 2, at 11 p.m. ET/PT, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The first 10 episodes will roll out this summer, with the remaining six airing later in the year.
Celebrity participants include Rick Ross with Meek Mill and Stalley, Austin Mahone, Chrissy Teigen, Michael Strahan, Nelly, Bow Wow, Wiz Khalifa, Asher Roth and Amber Rose. Other guests are Skylar Diggins, Tech N9ne, Vic Mensa, Riff Raff, Angel Haze, Que, Troy Ave, Drita, Sage the Gemini, Yo Gotti, Rich Homie Quan and Wonder Broz.
Joining Cannon are returning castmembers DeRay Davis, Corey Holcomb, Anthony “Chico” Bean, Conceited, Guy Code‘s Jon Gabrus, Emmanuel Hudson, Timothy DeLaGhetto and King Bach, among others.
The fifth season of Wild ‘N Out was MTV2’s highest-rated series, with an average 1.1 million viewers and a 1.3 rating among the MTV Networks demo of 12-34. It was revived by MTV’s sister network in November 2012 after a five-year break.
Wild ‘N Out is hosted by Cannon, who can be seen this summer on NBC’s America’s Got Talent; in February, he also signed on to co-star in VH1’s Drumline sequel. Cannon and Michael Goldman are executive producers for NCredible Entertainment, with Nile Evans as showrunner and executive producer. Paul Ricci and Candida Boyette-Clemons are executive producers for MTV2.
